After graduating in Visual Arts and Communication in 1995, Annie Langelier decided to pursue her studies in Interior Design, and obtained her diploma, along with an academic award, in December 1996. In January 1997, Annie joined the Conceptum team as a junior designer and stayed there for more than 16 years. Over time, Annie climbed the ladder from junior designer to intermediate and senior designer. Throughout her career, Rhéal Belanger has taught her the workings of the profession and has become what she will later call her Mentor.
Her dream of having her own design firm inspired her to become a partner for a Montreal design firm in 2015. This partnership ended in 2017, at which point Annie founded her own company, Planb. And after a little over 2 years, it was a success. Indeed, 2019 was a turning point for her with 2 options available: she could build a team and move Planb to a permanent office, or acquire an existing firm with an experienced team and an excellent reputation. The 2nd choice proved to be the preferred scenario.
It was thus in June 2019, with more than 22 years of experience, that Annie Langelier became the new president of Conceptum, succeeding Rhéal Belanger. With her associated real estate background and a deep understanding of Conceptum’s culture, Annie was the perfect person to take up the challenge and carry on the tradition started 35 years earlier by Rhéal Belanger.
