Whole or intersecting circles, solid or only fine lines, are reminiscent of coins. They are present in vinyl appliqués, felt and lighting fixtures. More abstractly, the tone-on-tone blue slat walls in conference rooms could be reminiscent of a stack of coins. Did you notice the trompe-l’œil effect in the corridor? It’s a very abstract representation of a coin slipping into a wallet!
The client didn’t want any carpets in these spaces. A variety of vinyl coverings were used, and cut-outs in the open areas evoke statistical graphs. The inspiration of the graphs was also taken up in a different, playful way in the multipurpose room. A removable partition allows the cafeteria area to open onto this room, enabling both spaces to be used by a larger number of people. The result is vibrant, bright and warm, thanks to the use of light wood and a variety of textures and patterns.
