Barilla Canada is a global leader in the agri-food market, renowned for its pasta. Further to the acquisition of the Montreal plant, the administrative team implemented a budget focused on its employees’ well-being and comfort. The project mandate was to transform the brightest space in the plant into a new, modern and comfortable office, showcasing the industrial aesthetics of the space.
This challenging project involved the complete demolition of an office space that had not been used in over 30 years. The work included clearing the premises of outdated furniture, demolishing ceilings, removing obsolete equipment, stripping floor finishes, reviewing mechanical systems, and replacing existing windows with larger ones to maximize natural light.
The aesthetic look and feel sought for this new space was a blend of contemporary, cozy and industrial styles. The Conceptum team met every budgetary and architectural challenge to transform this once-unused space into a vibrant, ergonomic environment. Under the attentive guidance of Robert, the client’s project manager, no detail was overlooked in providing loyal employees with a high-quality workspace.
What set this new dynamic and welcoming space apart is its height and brightness, high-end Quebec lighting, and warm, modern floor finishes. Quebec-made furniture, height-adjustable workstations, high-end work surfaces, smart collaborative spaces ‒ everything is designed to support and satisfy the teams now working in these new contemporary offices.
Through close collaboration with the client, we have created dynamic and creative spaces that will foster collaboration and growth for this diverse and innovative team.
