In response to the need to offer more workstations to its collaborators, the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec entrusted the Conceptum team with the redesign of its downtown offices.
While maintaining their existing offices, the objective of this redesign was to add new closed offices as part of a future expansion project. In addition to rethinking the space to adapt it to the new needs of the Ordre and to give more privacy to employees, our mission was to create a concept that expressed the values of health and wellness representative of the OEQ.
Since the offices are mainly dedicated to administrative tasks, the atmosphere is neutral and calming. The use of light wood and white adds a soft materiality to the look. In addition to adding colorful hues to the overall atmosphere, custom-made murals highlight the very core of the OEQ’s mission: people and their well-being.
This aspect is reinforced by the drawing style used, which is reflected in hand-drawn pictures. Small didactic texts accompany these characters to showcase the different missions of the Order.
