The Museum.

As an art enthusiast and great collector, the owner of this 10,000-square-foot floor wanted to create an art gallery out of his new offices to showcase his private collection.

Designed and thought of as a museum, this atypical room overlooking the inner courtyard of the World Trade Centre was to consist of around ten offices, including two conference rooms, two bathrooms and a cafeteria.

Organized around two large exhibition rooms, the offices are distributed around the perimeter of the room, allowing people to enjoy natural light while giving free rein to the spatial imagination for the centre of the suite.

Every location dedicated to the art gallery was designed to exhibit a single work of art. Moreover, each space was designed according to the specific characteristics of the few dozen non-standard artworks that the owner possessed – a technical and spatial challenge that had to combine the specific nature of both office and exhibition area layouts.
