Due to the reduced use of their offices after the pandemic, Alliance Carrière Travail (ACT), an entity founded by the merger of several partner organizations specializing in employability, called on Conceptum to fit out their new premises located in a modern building.
From the outset, the project was a close collaboration between ACT and Conceptum, focused on creating a welcoming and professional space than can cater to the needs of young people, families and older adults alike. Drawing on the organization’s values, we developed a concept based on the idea of transformation. The transformation of paper thus guided the entire design of their offices. Having its origins in tree bark, this material was used in a variety of ways.
This concept is quite visible as soon as people come in, where a custom-made piece of furniture, evocative of origami, catches the eye. The remainder of the space is designed to be warm and versatile, with pastel-toned consulting desks, a colorful graphic mural, and green spaces. Accent walls, including one with wood slats in the benching area and shared restrooms, add texture and a modern touch to the space.
Lastly, the configuration of the offices and the use of natural and light-reflecting materials enhance the overall brightness to the entire space.
