Fujitsu is the first Japanese company to offer a full range of products, solutions and customer services in the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) industry. Approximately 155,000 Fujitsu employees assist their customers in more than 100 countries.
By using their experience and the power of ICT, and in collaboration with their customers, the employees develop the future of their company.
After various acquisitions and a new design development approach, Fujitsu decided to merge their Montréal operations under the same roof. Conceptum took on the challenge of reducing the floor rentable area and gathering all the departments of the company in one place, creating a functional environment and bringing a new work philosophy in an open space.
The concept pays tribute to the firm’s country of origin, Japan. The colors used, orange and red, as well as the contrasts and patterns recall the Far East. The open workspaces, with a residential and warm design, have been entirely designed with a warm neutral color palette, while colors are used in the collaborative areas, encouraging creativity.
Built on two floors, a new staircase has been placed in the middle of the space to encourage internal movements. A hundred-seat cafeteria allows everyone to attend the organization’s meetings.
