Budge Studios develops software for children designed to stimulate their imagination. Operating since 2010, the company is a leader in the digital entertainment business with more than 300 million children who use their applications around the world.
Building on this growth, Budge Studios decided to transfer all their operations in the heart of the Mile-End district in Montréal. Conceptum’s mandate was to create a functional and dynamic working space where collaboration and sharing knowledge are at the forefront.
The concept was to develop a linear, open and transparent layout, promoting a sleek decor and encouraging creativity. Neutral colors were used all over the place, contrasting with the vibrant corporate colors. Polished concrete floors and recycled wood in the reception area and the cafeteria have been used to maximize the visual impact while respecting the assigned budget.
We were also able to bring the client’s vision to life, build a large cafeteria to allow the company to gather all its employees for their weekly “Town Hall” meetings.
At the heart of the firm, children also have their play area when they are required to test new applications.
